Join one of the resident RSPB wardens for a guided walk around one of Wales' most breathtaking reserves. Discover Ramsey's varied wildlife, learn about the island's history and find out what it is lke to live and work on a remote island today. Spend the morning with your RSPB guide and then take the afternoon at your leisure.

Boats depart from the lifeboat station at St Justinians, 2 miles west of St Davids.

Please note that in addition: A landing fee of £4.00 adults, £2 children/concessions is payable by non-RSPB members and boat fares of £11 adults, £5.50 children are payable by all participants. There is a small shop on the island selling hot and cold drinks and snacks, but not sandwiches. We therefore recommend that walk participants bring their own packed lunch.

It is advisable to bring warm and waterproof clothing in inclement weather, as there is no cover once out onthe island trail and the boat crossing can be wet. Sunscreen and a hat are also advisable in hot weather. Due top the steep steps in St Justinians and in Ramsey harbour and the rough terrain on the island trail, a reasonable level of fitness is required and sturdy footwear with good grip, ideally walking boots, are essential.
