Everyman Summer Theatre Festival at St Fagans: National History Museum
The Everyman Summer Theatre Festival is now in its 28th year and continues to present captivating, passionate and practiced live theatre, to audiences of all ages. Come join us at St.Fagan’s, National History Museum for an afternoon or evening of indulgence and the best outdoor entertainment in town!
The 2010 season opens with Gair am Air, Everyman’s first Welsh-language production for children aged 7-12years. To be performed between Tuesday 6th and Saturday 10th July, Gair am Air is an adventure-filled tale of four best friends whose lives are changed forever one summer night.
This year’s Shakespeare is Much Ado About Nothing; a sharp, smart and farcical battle of the sexes, telling the truth about what it takes to make love happen. To be staged between Wednesday 7th and Saturday 17th July.
For musical lovers, Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore is to be performed between Wednesday 21st and Saturday 31st July. This much loved operetta promises much mirth and merriment as the hilarious tale of love, hypocrisy and mistaken identity unfolds.
To enchant families of all ages there’s fun and endless adventure in the 100 Aker Wood, with Winnie the Pooh, to be staged between Saturday 24th and Saturday 31st July. This class piece of charming children’s theatre will entertain the whole family.
